• I'll conduct a home safety assessment identifying slip, trip, and fall hazards in and around your home, including:

• an evaluation of your home for trip hazards and safety risks,

• a consideration of your house slippers and house shoes,

• an identification of your specific needs for grab bars, handrails, hand-holds, and non-slip floor finishes,

• an identification of any floor repairs needed, 

• we will identify a need for improved lighting in your walkways, bathrooms, and entryways,

• I'll identify a need for replacement or removal of ladders and step stools,

• I'll identify a need to organize upper shelves and cabinets, and 

• I'll identify a need to remove rugs, cords, and eliminate trip hazards around your home.

 

• I will provide you with personalized recommendations in writing.​

• I will develop a contingency plan, intended to help you get help quickly if you need it,  and communicate your condition to your loved ones.

 

• I will give you guidance on your options to correct your slip, fall, and trip vulnerabilities, including guidance on the purchase of mobility aids, communication devices, and other things if needed.​
